To increase environmental awareness in the city of Dhaka in Bangladesh, Coca Cola has deposited a machine called “”Happiness Arcade” around the city in six different locations. This Arcade machine runs on plastic bottles not on coins. To play to game, you have to insert a plastic Coca Cola bottle into the slot, which is built to the exact size specifications of a plastic Coke bottle.

The report on the experiment is that thousands of bottles were collected over the six days the machine was in operation. Those bottles were turned into pellets through a recycling process that makes them reusable for other plastic products. The program will continue in the coming months to increase awareness.
