China Starts World’s Biggest Floating Solar Project – الصين تبدأ في أكبر مشروع للطاقة الشمسية العائمة في العالم

A unit of China Three Gorges Corp. is building a 1 billion yuan ($151 million) floating solar power plant, the world’s biggest, in the nation’s eastern province of Anhui.

China Three Gorges New Energy Co. started building the 150-megawatt project in July and part of the plant has connected to the grid, according to a Dec. 10 statement. The project features panels fixed to floats on the surface of a lake that formed after a coal mine collapsed, according to the unit. The entire facility is expected to come online by May 2018.

Floating solar is getting bigger in China, where ground-mounted projects aren’t used to full capacity because of grid congestion. About 5.6 percent of solar power generation was idled in the first three quarters, according to data from the National Energy Administration.

Before construction of China Three Gorges’ plant, China’s biggest commissioned floating solar project was a 40-megawatt farm by Sungrow Power Supply Co. in the same province, according to Bloomberg New Energy Finance.

تقوم شركة “China Three Gorges Corp” ببناء مصنع طاقة شمسية عائم بتكلفة 1 بليون يوان و ما يعادل 151 مليون دولار أمريكي وهو يعد الأكبر عالميا و الذي سيقام في مقاطعة “Anhui”  الشرقية.

بدأت شركة “China Three Gorges New Energy Co” في شهر يوليو ببناء مشروع يستوعب 150 ميجاوات و جزء من هذا المشروع قد تم توصيله بالشبكة ، وذلك بناءاً علي تصريح في 10 ديسمبر، ويتميز المشروع بأن الألواح مثبتة لتطفو على سطح بحيرة تكونت بعد تدمير منجم فحم و ذلك وفقاً للشركة، ومن المتوقع أن المرفق بأكلمه سيكون جاهزاً بحلول شهر مايو 2018.

إن الطاقة الشمسية العائمة تزداد في الصين حيث أن المشاريع الأرضية لا تستخدم بكامل طاقتها و ذلك بسبب إزدحام الشبكة ، ويوجد حوالي 5.6 في المائة من توليد الطاقة الشمسية معطلة في الفصول الثلاثة الأولى و ذلك بناءاً على بيانات من منظمة الطاقة القومية.

وقبل بناء مشروع شركة “ China Three Gorges”، بدأت الصين اكبر مشروع للطاقة الشمسية والذي كان مزرعه تستوعب 40 ميجاوات وذلك بواسطة شركة “Sungrow Power Supply” وفقاً ل “Bloomberg New Energy Finance”.
