‘How do you transfer data between Google accounts? is a very common question we face everyday
In this three-part series we will cover everything you need to know about moving data between Google accounts. This includes data in Gmail, Contacts, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Sites, Google+ and YouTube.

Part 1: will cover how to transfer Gmail and Google Drive data from a G Suite for Education account (i.e. a school account) to another Google account (personal or G Suite).

Part 2 will cover how to transfer Google Drive data from a consumer Google account (i.e. your own personal Gmail account) to another Google account (personal or G Suite).

Part 3 will cover how to transfer Google Contacts, Google Calendar, Google Sites, Google+ and YouTube data between any two Google accounts.

So let’s get started!

 الجزء 1:سيغطي كيفية نقل بيانات G ميل و غوغل دريف من حساب G سويت التعليمي (حساب مدرسي) إلى حساب غوغل آخر (شخصي أو G سويت).

سيغطي الجزء 2 كيفية نقل بيانات غوغل دريف من حساب غوغل المستهلك (أي حساب غميل الشخصي) إلى حساب غوغل آخر (شخصي أو G سويت).

سيغطي الجزء 3 كيفية نقل جهات اتصال غوغل(google contacts) وتقويم غوغل ومواقع غوغل و  غوغل+ وبيانات يوتوب بين أي حسابين في غوغل.

Transferring Google Contacts

Transferring contacts between Google accounts requires you to export them from one account and import them into the other.

نقل جهات اتصال غوغل

يتطلب نقل جهات الاتصال بين حسابات غوغل تصديرها من حساب واحد واستيرادها إلى حساب آخر.

To export your Google contacts

1. Login to the Google account you want to export the contacts from. Open Gmail and then open the Contacts manager.
2. Select More > Export.
   Note: If you are using the Contacts preview interface, you will be promoted to switch back to the old version. Click Go to old version to make the switch, then choose More > Export again.

3. Choose what you want to export. This can be all your contacts, contacts you have selected (ticked) or a specific group.

4. Choose the Google CSV format.
5. Click Export and choose a location on your computer to save the file.

To import your Google contacts:

1. Login to the Google account you want to import the contacts to. Open Gmail and then open the Contacts manager.
   Note: We suggest opening the second Google account in a Chrome Incognito window, or a separate Chrome profile to avoid conflicts between accounts.

2. Select More > Import.
   Note: If you are using the Contacts preview interface, you will be promoted to switch back to the old version. Click Go to old version to make the switch, then choose More > Import again.

3. Click the Choose File button and browse for the file you downloaded during the contacts export process.

4. Click Import.

Transferring Google Calendars

Transferring a calendar between Google accounts requires you to export it from one account and import it into the other.

نقل تقويم جوجل

يتطلب نقل تقويم بين حسابات غوغل تصديره من حساب واحد واستيراده إلى حساب آخر.

To export a Google Calendar:

1. Login to the Google account you want to export the calendar from. Open Google Calendar.
2. In the My calendars list, hover over the name of the calendar you want to export. Click the little arrow that appears on the right, then select Calendar settings.

3. Click Export this calendar (at the bottom of the settings screen).

4. Choose a location on your computer to save the file.

To import a Google Calendar:

1. Login to the Google account you want to import the calendar to. Open Google Calendar.
2. Click the little arrow to the right of My calendars and select Settings.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the My Calendar section and click the Import calendar link.
4. Click Choose File and browse for the file you downloaded during the calendar export process.

5. Choose the calendar you want to import the exported events into.
   Tip: If you want to import the events into a separate calendar, create a new Calendar specifically for this purpose before beginning the import process. For example, you could call it ‘School events archive’ or similar. You can then choose this calendar during the import process.

6. Click Import.

Transferring Google Sites

Note: At present, it is only possible to transfer Classic Google Sites. This method will only work if your school allows you to share Google Sites outside of your domain.

نقل مواقع غوغل

ملاحظة: في الوقت الحاضر، من الممكن فقط لنقل مواقع غوغل الكلاسيكية. لن تعمل هذه الطريقة إلا إذا سمحت لك مدرستك بمشاركة مواقع غوغل خارج نطاقك.

1. Open the Google Site you want to transfer.
2. Share the Site with the Google account you want to transfer it to, giving the account ‘Is Owner’ access.
3. Login to your other Google account and op$en the Google Site.
4. Click the Settings (cog) button and choose Manage Site.
5. Find the General tab and click the Copy site button (located about half way down the page).

6. Choose a new name and URL for the new site. Choose if you want to share the copied site with the same people by checking/unchecking the Copy Site Collaborators option.

7. Click Copy.

This will make a copy of the original site, which means the copied version will have a different URL to the original site. Be sure to update any links that point to the site if you want other people to be able to access it.

Transferring Google+ communities

Google+ communities can be transferred by changing their ownership. You can use this feature to change the ownership of a community to another account you own, or to make someone else in your school the owner of a community.

Before you start: Ensure that the person/account you want to transfer the community’s ownership to is already a moderator of the community. The must have been a moderator for a minimum of 2 weeks before you can give them ownership of the community.

نقل المجتمعات في + Google

المجتمعات في Google + يمكن نقلها عن طريق تغيير ملكيتها. يمكنك استخدام هذه الميزة لتغيير ملكية المجتمع لحساب آخر لديك، أو لجعل شخص آخر في مدرستك صاحب المجتمع.

قبل البدء: تأكد من أن الشخص / الحساب الذي تريد نقل ملكية المجتمع لهو بالفعل مشرف من المجتمع. يجب أن يكون مشرفا لمدة لا تقل عن أسبوعين قبل أن تتمكن من منحهم ملكية المجتمع.

1. Open the Google+ community you want to transfer, using the account that currently owns the community.
2. Click the three dots button and choose Manage members.

3. Find the person you want to transfer the ownership to. Click the three dots button next to their name. Choose the Promote from moderator to owner option.

4. Open the Google+ community using the account that you made an owner in step 3.
5. Click the three dots button and choose Manage members.
6.  Find the person who you no longer want to be a community owner. Click the three dots button next to their name. Choose the option appropriate to what you need to do (e.g. Demote from owner to moderator, Demote from owner to member or remove them completely from the community).

Transferring YouTube videos and channels

There are two options for transferring YouTube data between Google accounts. You can either transfer the ownership of an entire YouTube channel, or download individual videos and upload them to another account.

Transferring ownership of a YouTube channel

This option will keep the existing channel name, URL, videos, comments and settings. To learn how to transfer ownership of a YouTube channel, please see this blog post.

Downloading individual videos

This option involves downloading each video in your YouTube account.

هناك خياران لنقل بيانات يوتوب بين حسابات غوغل. يمكنك إما نقل ملكية قناة يوتوب بأكملها، أو تنزيل مقاطع فيديو فردية وتحميلها إلى حساب آخر.

تنزيل مقاطع فيديو فردية

يتضمن هذا الخيار تنزيل كل فيديو في حسابك على يوتوب.

1. Login to the YouTube account that owns the videos you want to download.
2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner. Choose Creator Studio.

3. Select Video Manager from the menu on the left.
4. For each video you want to download, click the little arrow next to the Edit button and choose Download MP4.

5. Choose a location on your computer to save the file.

You can now upload the videos to the YouTube channel in your other Google account. It is a good idea to also delete the videos from the original YouTube channel so Google does not detect any copyright issues.

Be aware that this option will not retain the original URLs of the videos. When you upload them to your other Google account each video will get a new URL. If this is an issue, we suggest choosing the option to transfer your entire YouTube channel to another account.

يرجى العلم بأن هذا الخيار لن يحتفظ بالعناوين الأصلية لمقاطع الفيديو. عند تحميلها إلى حساب غوغل الآخر، سيحصل كل فيديو على عنوان جديد. إذا كانت هذه مشكلة، نقترح اختيار خيار نقل قناتك على يوتوب بالكامل إلى حساب آخر.

Options for extracting data from other Google services

Google also have a data download tool that allows you to extract data from most of their services by downloading it in non-Google formats. For example, you can download Blogger blogs in XML format, calendars in iCalender format, mail in MBOX format and Google Drive files in Microsoft Office format. خيارات لاستخراج البيانات من خدمات غوغل الأخرى

لدى غوغل أيضا أداة لتنزيل البيانات تتيح لك استخراج البيانات من معظم خدماتها عن طريق تنزيلها بتنسيقات بخلاف غوغل. على سبيل المثال، يمكنك تحميل مدونات Blogger في شكل XML، والتقويمات في شكل iCalender والبريد في تنسيق MBOX والملفات في Google Drive في شكل مايكروسوفت أوفيس. يمكنك قراءة المزيد حول كيفية استخدامه هنا.
